Has anyone purchased the same carpet? Just wondering what the fit is like.

Cheers Matty.

i bought a set of after market carpets from ebay a couple of years ago for my hatch back chevette, they did not fit as exact as the originals but fitted pretty well over all, i found i had to re leave the stitching a little in the corners of the front foot wells as it went up behind parcel shelf and the pedals, apart from that i was very happy

Apparently the standard coverdale carpet (i.e. not for the HS) is a good fit, the HS one is a nightmare because of the rear turrets and the alterations to the gearbox tunnel. The coverdale carpets are quite a bit thicker than a standard one so a bit more plush and provided you take your time you'll get a decent finish  ;)

so its just HS that are bit## to fit. Because if these ones are no good will be using coverdale for replacement.

I can't comment on the standard car but certainly can on the HS, apparently coverdale lost all of their templates in a fire a few years ago and had to redo them and in the case of the HS it certainly wasn't good, the boot carpet in a hatch is obviously the easiest . . but its too long and slightly too wide, and isn't even close on the turrets, the carpets are bounded around the edge so trimming isn't an option unless you get someone professional to do it, the carpet covering for the front kick panels doesn't fit, and the sections for the rear seat base again don't fit. The tunnel is a nightmare and regardless of how long you take it won't be perfect . . . .  the coverdale set is expensive and includes all carpets required for a hatch incl kick panels, seat base, boot etc, I don't know whether the cheaper one includes everything. I've seen people make their own and get just as good a result . . .it just takes time.
