Its the other way round, the black ones are rarer as fewer cars were fitted with them.

It would be a shame to paint chrome bumpers if the chrome is good, but if the chrome isnt anything special wouldnt harm just to spray them  :driving:

Your not wrong, I do seem to have quite a few . . . .  I have an absolutely mint black rear bumper, and pretty sure I have a front one too, I'll have a look when I'm up at the unit this week and let you know  ;)

Just spray them, if you ever want them chrome again use Nitromors to get it off, easy. I did it to a chrome grill on a mini, paint came off leaving them lovely and shiny still :)

Thing is, if yourgoing to paint chrome it needs to be rubbed down and keyed off to allow the paint to adhere to the metal.  So when you then remove the paint the chrome would be all scratched and useless.

Its sounds like the grill you painted Aimee wasnt keyed off, hence why the paint came straight off?

if i got the route of sanding/painting my chrome bumpers i'll properly go to town on them! ir if there is a friendly chromeoing place close to me that will do it for super cheap i' get them to dip the bumpers to remove the chrome-would be a shame to do though i think!

would prefer a spare pair of rough chrome bumpers to sand & paint! whats the going rate for some satin black shuvit bumpers?
