New Chevette hatch
« on: Jul 24, 2016, 15:56:37 »
Hi all, as some of yous have seen from Facebook iv bought another chevette  :wallbang:
It's a 1979 Chevette L. The Wee shell is very very good but the roof is damaged and both wings and passenger inner wing needs work  :'(
She needs two headlights and a rear tail light.and she has had a few mice living in her and they have destroyed the back seat.

To be honest, given the price it was advertised for it would have been rude not too, just wayyyyy too far scarf for me, good luck with it.

Baring the damaged roof the shell is very strong and in great condition.doors are perfect inside and out. bonnet is great condition and the boot lid baring the dent where some smart person(probably the same brain box that put the chains round her) tried to bust the lock,it will pull out tho.the inner and outer quarters are in great condition as in the boot rear panel and floor.drivers inner wing is good passengers in rusty.roof will fix and is rust free and non sunroof.
Interior is good as is the dash and other bits.
I am in two minds on what to do with her. :juggle: :juggle: :juggle:

to be fair it looks pretty good as Chevettes go, just looking at the engine bay and I think an MX5 lump would look good in there  8)
